Today's world is fast and kids are connected to technology before they are born. It's easy to get hooked on technology that's always online, delivering a steady stream of photos, texts and tweets and Facebook updates.

There are a lot of diagnostic tick lists on line for Adult ADD/ADHD - you can use that route just as a starting point, but be careful. If you look hard at a lot of different kinds of diagnostic criteria, you can, after a while, have everything. Be real. Use this as some information to take you to another place...mainly, your GP. This is some information I came across and I compared it with myself and what I still struggle with. I am not an expert.
I just live with it.

Life is a balancing act for any adult, but I have never been good at balancing. I find myself constantly late, disorganised, forgetful, and overwhelmed by my own responsibilities and commitments – why? I am starting to embrace the fact that maybe it is more about being an adult with ADD/ADHD, then being just stupid.

Individual learner’s needs and preferences can be met (although not exclusively), through the use of technology. Teachers need to find meaningful ways to integrate technology, tools and techniques into their own practice and to evaluate which of the many thousands of educational apps (digital tools) might be appropriate for their learners.
